Responsibilities

• Manage the reservation system and handle calls for reservations and take-out orders

• Greet guests and assign tables efficiently to ensure smooth service and table turnover

• Operate the POS system accurately

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and restaurant areas

• Work closely with the service team to ensure an excellent guest experience

• Communicate any guest concerns or issues to management promptly

• Assist with opening and closing duties and other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hosting experience (fine dining experience is an asset)

• Valid Serving It Right certification

• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Weekend availability is required

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus is an asset

• Canadian citizens or permanent residents preferred ; work permit holders must be available for at least 6 months
