North American Gis Director

Lead North American GIS strategy with Esri expertise, enterprise platforms, and technical leadership across multiple business sectors. This senior leadership role supports scalable service delivery.The GIS Director will expand organizational GIS capabilities across North America. You will guide strategy, technology, platforms, operational standards, and multidisciplinary teams. The position combines business development, project delivery, client relationships, governance, and emerging technologies including AI and data analytics.Key Responsibilities:
Develop North American GIS strategy, platforms, and operational standardsLead teams through resource planning, performance, and professional developmentOversee quality, efficiency, consistency, and client satisfactionEstablish governance, data management, QA/QC, and risk practicesRepresent GIS practice at industry events and strengthen market presenceRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field15+ years progressive GIS experience, including 7+ years leading teamsExperience managing consulting, engineering, environmental, or professional services GISStrong Esri expertise across ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online, and PortalBusiness development, project delivery, financial management, and communication skillsApply strategic GIS leadership, Esri platform expertise, and team development experience across North American operations and services.
