What Will You Do?

·         Carriage of a litigation caseload in collaboration with senior counsel;

·         Participation in all stages of litigation, including trial preparation, attending discoveries, mediations,

settlement conferences, and court appearances;

·         Drafting pleadings, motion materials, briefs, and settlement documentation; and

·         Conducting legal research and providing timely opinions on matters.

What You Will Bring?

·         Law degree and active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;

·         1-3 years of civil litigation experience (employment law experience is preferred);

·         Strong understanding of Ontario court procedures and litigation process;

·         Excellent written and oral advocacy skills;

·         Strong academic credentials;

·         Strong drafting skills, and attention to detail; and

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
