Process Team Lead- Water (Regina)

Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Process Technical Lead focused on the planning and engineering design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

• People Management
  • Champion ideas and initiatives that promote a healthy work environment and a positive culture.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and training to develop a high‑performing project team.
  • Establish strong relationships with team members and provide regular recognition and feedback.
  • Proactively identify and resolve team issues and conflicts.
  • Facilitate regular discipline meetings to track project deliverables.
  • Champion inclusion and diversity initiatives and support Employee Resource Groups.
• Business Development
  • Lead strategic business development initiatives to expand the team’s portfolio.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and technical discussions.
  • Oversee proposal development, shape win themes, and ensure proposals meet technical, commercial and branding standards.
  • Develop scopes of work, cost estimates and level‑of‑effort documents.
  • Support key account planning and provide market intelligence.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.
• Project Execution
  • Lead design and construction projects in the region.
  • Develop and manage the project scope, quality review process, budget, staffing, schedule and contractual requirements.
  • Perform complex engineering design tasks on water‑related projects.
  • Generate engineering drawings, technical reports, feasibility studies and presentations.
  • Lead the assignment, review and evaluation of technical work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the import and export of personnel to ensure successful delivery across business lines.

Capabilities & Credentials

• Professional Engineer designation with APEGS or eligibility for registration.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in managing people.
• Experience leading water and wastewater process design teams.
• Excellent communication skills, mentoring and coaching junior staff.
• Strong design leadership and client relationship skills.
• Understanding of local and regional jurisdictional codes and design requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering disciplines including geotechnical, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited post‑secondary institute.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in project management, preferably for wastewater and water treatment infrastructure design projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Experience in a consulting engineering environment and project management is an asset.

Pay & Benefits

Pay ranges are provided where required. Compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience and work location. The role is bonus eligible. Part‑time compensation is pro‑rated.
