Director Medical Labour Relations
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority
Lead provincial medical labour relations and compensation services with Shared Health in Winnipeg through strategic negotiations and stakeholder engagement. This hybrid position works daytime shifts.As Director, you will support Manitoba’s healthcare system through labour relations strategies, medical compensation analysis, and workforce planning. The position requires leadership in negotiations, collaboration with executives, service partners, specialists, and legal counsel. Shared Health coordinates province-wide health services and centralized functions across Manitoba.Key Responsibilities:
Lead provincial medical labour relations and compensation servicesDevelop, evaluate, and implement contract negotiationsNegotiate with professional associations and unionsLead teams and drive organizational changeCollaborate with executives, partners, specialists, and counselRequirements:
Five years of leadership experience, preferably in healthcarePost-secondary degree in a relevant discipline or equivalentKnowledge of physician compensation and workforce dynamicsStrong diplomacy, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsCurrent required criminal and abuse registry checksBring strategic leadership, negotiation expertise, and healthcare workforce knowledge to Shared Health’s provincial medical services in Winnipeg.
