Ofl Managing Director Labour Relations

Lead labour relations and staff operations as OFL Managing Director in Don Mills, Toronto, working full-time in the office.The Ontario Federation of Labour represents 54 unions and one million workers. Reporting to elected leadership, this senior staff position leads operations and supports Officers advancing the OFL mandate. The role combines human resources, financial management, governance and organizational development.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise and coach staff with clear accountabilityTranslate strategic priorities into workplans and organizational actionOversee performance management, development and conflict resolutionSupport bargaining, grievances, arbitration, benefits and pensionsOversee budgets, controls, reporting and financial sustainabilityRequirements:
Extensive trade union movement and union setting experienceSenior human resources and labour relations experienceCollective Agreement, bargaining, grievance and arbitration expertiseFinancial management, budgeting, reporting and controls experienceGovernance, judgment, communication and conflict-management skillsBring senior labour leadership, operational judgment and financial stewardship to the Ontario Federation of Labour’s Toronto office.
