Key Account Manager CPG Canada
Greenhouse
Drive Canadian grocery growth at Greenhouse through strategic selling, trade management, and data-backed account leadership across major customer relationships.
As Key Account Manager, you will own assigned sales plans, volumes, trade budgets, and Joint Business Plans. Build trusted buyer partnerships while expanding distribution, winning listings, and aligning customer programs with Greenhouse strategies. Use POS, Nielsen or Circana, shipment data, and Excel to guide decisions and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own account sales plans, volume, budgets, and annual business plans
- Win listings and expand distribution through strategic selling
- Lead business reviews with data-backed customer recommendations
- Negotiate pricing, promotional funding, terms, and programs
- Manage promotional calendars, trade spend, deductions, and accruals
Requirements:
- Three or more years of CPG key account or sales experience
- Canadian grocery, mass, drug, or natural retailer experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort analyzing POS data
- Experience with vendor portals, distributors, and trade fundamentals
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel 25% or more
