Summer Student - Administrative Assistant
$20 - $22 per hourKtc Tribal Council
Position: Pre-Employment Support Coordinator Closing Date: May 22, 2026
Job Posting: 2026-05 Job Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Location: Atikameg Head Office Salary: $20-$22/hour
Workers at the Member Nations.
Key responsibilities include assisting with the creation of forms, filing, data entry into the 360 Income Support and ARMS ISET Program databases, as well as supporting projects, events, treaty days, and report preparation.
Skills & Abilities- Time Management – Efficiently handles workload and meets deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Confidentiality and Discretion – Maintains privacy when dealing with sensitive client or program information.
- Teamwork and Collaboration – Works well with program coordinators, social workers, and other team members.
- Adaptability – Comfortable with changing priorities and able to handle new tasks as needed.
- Problem-Solving Skills – Can identify issues and help find practical, timely solutions.
Qualifications:
- Must be either currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (starting or returning in the fall) or planning to enroll in the near future.
- Willingness to travel to all member Nations. This position travels daily to community.
- Must have a valid class 5 license with a clean drivers abstract.

- RCMP/Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector submitted prior to commencement of
employment. - Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
