Associate - Human Resources Business Partner

Position Overview

Associate Human Resources Business Partner – Manages HR support for client group, focusing on timekeeping, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS tasks, administrative reporting, employee events, and communications.

Salary Range

$69,000 - $95,000

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare biweekly timekeeping logs in Workday for Corporate Payroll and respond to pay inquiries.
• Track and submit weekly temp agency timesheets, invoice approvals, and hours on spreadsheets.
• Assist with recruiting, interviews, and onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with HR management to improve HR functional processes.
• Prepare reporting for Plant Manager, track production and maintenance KPIs.
• Track and report on Health & Safety metrics, administer WSIB program and case management, LMS and HSE system superuser.
• Administer employee uniform reimbursement and expense programs.
• Conduct assigned project work for client group or HR management.
• Represent the organization at community activities and coordinate plant events and activities.
• Perform any additional duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1‑3 years of human resources or related experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with WSIB claims management.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Physical Demands

Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, using hands, reaching, speaking, hearing, and occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
