Job Responsibility: Asset Sales Specialist

As an Asset Sales Specialist, you will maximize end of lease outcomes, through a variety of channels; renewals/extensions with lessees, in places sales to lessees, or arrange for equipment sales to partners and third parties, while ensuring the equipment is returned in its agreed upon condition. This will require you to proactively plan and manage the portfolio stream-off maturities by main asset classes, develop sales strategies and in depth used equipment market knowledge and experience.

Day to Day

• Pro-actively coordinate regular reviews with Asset Management, Asset Sales and GBU Commercial Management to discuss upcoming lease expiries
• Assertively drive team decisions on most appropriate end of lease strategy depending on asset type, asset desirability, high RV positions, customer behavior (returning vs extending)
• Effectively communicate and report the outcome of the meetings to relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and control
• Initiate and conduct regular reviews with internal stakeholders to discuss and agree approach in case of problematic issues and possible/confirmed returns of equipment
• Handle inquiries related to documentation for leases in renewal. Including Invoices, lease documentation, Return Instructions
• Own the end of lease process for the assets you will be responsible of. This process may include: lease expiry notifications, email follow-up, personal contact with customer to discuss options and guide/influence customer behavior, structure commercially attractive end of lease scenarios to lock-in customers (example discounts on extension rentals, etc.)
• Coordinate end of lease asset inspections, enforce contractual cancellation terms and return conditions, arrange for the timely collection of restocking fees, excess usage, and damages to DLL's equipment. All these activities clearly communicated to customer and internal stakeholders
• Liaison with vendor and dealer partners on all end of lease related requests
• Execute appropriate documentation, invoicing, and administration
• also respond to emails looking for general information on leases, buyouts, payment issues and other general information inquiries.
• Quality of advice on and contribution to department/regional plan
• Alignment of regional plan to Asset Management overall plan
• System maintenance and integrity

Essentials

• At least 3-5 years relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing is required
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact at different levels of a customer organization
• Strong focus on customer service and relationship management
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Empathetic and good at building relationships

Applicable pay range:

$65,674 - $98,512

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, pension plan, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
