Senior Financial Systems Analyst

Apply advanced SQL and business analysis skills as a Lead Business System Analyst at RBC Centre in Toronto. Translate complex rules into reliable technology solutions.
This full-time position bridges business needs and IT solutions across financial services. You will analyze systems, document requirements, create user stories, and identify inefficiencies. The work includes validating business rules, designing test strategies, and coordinating with business units, software engineers, and quality analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate and validate business rules with stakeholders
- Curate feature-specific data for functional and regression testing
- Design masked and synthetic test data for edge cases
- Document upstream applications, dataflows, and technical specifications
- Recommend improvements to legacy core banking systems
Requirements:
- Knowledge of equity, options, mutual funds, FX, and fixed-income products
- Financial services business analysis and root-cause analysis experience
- Ability to document processes, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Advanced SQL proficiency with relational databases
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, REST, and SOAP APIs
Support RBC technology and operations through financial systems analysis, advanced SQL, test data design, and business rule validation in Toronto.
