Our client, a leader in the stone fabrication industry, is seeking a STONE PRODUCT POLISHER-NIGHT SHIFT to join their dedicated team. As a STONE PRODUCT POLISHER-NIGHT SHIFT , you will be supporting the production department, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and ensuring the delivery of polished stone products that meet company standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: STONE PRODUCT POLISHER-NIGHT SHIFT
Location: Mount Uniacke, NS
Pay Range: $18-$24
Shift: Night shift: 3:45 PM – 12:45 AM
What's the Job?
- Operate hand-held grinders, water polishers, and basic hand tools to profile and polish stone edges as required.
- Cut stone to size according to work orders and production drawings provided.
- Read and interpret company production drawings accurately to ensure precision.
- Deliver polished, profiled work that meets Living Stone's quality and craftsmanship standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety protocols and occupational health and safety requirements.
What's Needed?
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- High standards of personal accountability and integrity.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods and manually lift stone pieces weighing 30–50 lbs.
- Willingness to listen, learn, and follow directions; organized and responsible.
