Nanny / Respite Care Position – Part-Time ❤️ I’m currently a nanny/respite caregiver for an amazing family and am looking for someone wonderful to take over my position while I’m away on maternity leave! 📍 Location: Seton & Legacy, Calgary The family has a 10-year-old girl with global developmental delay who is incredibly fun, loving, outgoing, and funny. She is such a joy to spend time with, and this is a wonderful opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children with special needs. Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 2:45 PM–4:45 PM
- Friday: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
- Potential for additional hours based on the family’s needs
- Meeting her when she gets off the school bus
- Planning fun and engaging activities
- Working on goals from her OT, speech, and physiotherapy programs
- Getting out into the community and participating in activities
- Supporting toileting and personal care needs
- Providing a safe, positive, patient, and supportive environment
- Have experience working with children with special needs/developmental delays
- Be patient, calm, caring, and outgoing
- Be comfortable with toileting and personal care
- Enjoy being active and getting out into the community
- Be reliable and responsible
- Have a valid driver’s licence and their own vehicle
- Be comfortable following therapy goals and incorporating them into everyday activities
