Leadership Opportunity: Unit Manager AHS

Elevate your career with a leadership role as Unit Manager of Maternity and Pediatrics at Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray. This role centers on team development and patient care excellence. You will oversee the daily operations and clinical performance of Maternity and Pediatrics while reporting directly to the Director of Patient Care. Your leadership will foster an environment of collaboration and support among staff, promoting high-quality and evidence-based care. You'll actively participate in developing strategic priorities and ensuring fiscal responsibility within the departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct leadership and accountability for units
- Manage clinical operations, ensuring patient-focused care
- Ensure effective budgeting and resource management
- Support staff recruitment and professional development
- Cultivate positive relationships and promote teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in health care plus professional registration
- At least 5 years of leadership in maternal and child services
- Strong independent and collaborative working skills
- Current CPR certification (BCLS–HCP)
- Proficiency in Connect Care and financial decision-making
