Sept 2026 Organize and Mother's Helper

I'm a working mom in my mid-30s who works full-time running two businesses and a general contractor building a house. I work mainly remotely but also go into work several times a week. My husband primarily works outside of the home, although he occasionally works from home about 3x a month. We have a busy household and I'm looking for a reliable, hardworking Mother's Helper to help me around the house and with our upcoming move. Our 2-year-old son attends daycare Monday-Friday, so the majority of the time it will just be me at home while you're here. I'm looking for someone to work 2-4 weekdays per week, sometime between 9am-3pm. I'm flexible on which days you prefer to work and how many days per week, but would like to establish a fairly consistent schedule that works for both of us. Start date: Tuesday September 15th (at the earliest). We're currently preparing to move into our new home in mid October, so a big part of the position over the next couple of months will be helping me get organized, packed and moved. Once we move, I'll also need help unpacking, organizing and setting up our new home. Some of the things I'll need help with include:

• Packing and organizing the house for our move
• Loading boxes/items into my truck and coming with me to our storage unit to unload
• Unpacking and organizing our new home after we move
• Laundry, folding and putting things away
• Dishes and keeping the kitchen tidy
• General tidying, vacuuming and organizing
• Restocking/organizing the fridge and pantry

I'll generally be home during your shift, so for packing and organizing projects I'll be able to work alongside you and show you exactly what I'd like done. I'm also looking for someone who is comfortable being given tasks and working independently. You should be comfortable lifting and carrying reasonably sized household boxes. We are a non-smoking household, do not use drugs and do not have any pets.
