As a future Sides Cook at Ruth’s Chris, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and plating all side dishes to meet our high standards. Effective communication with the kitchen team, especially the broiler cook, is essential for ensuring all food is served perfectly timed for guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food prep and cooking tasks as assigned
- Check stock levels of items prior to the shift
- Properly season and plate all side dishes
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service delivery
- Restock food items and supplies as needed
- Must lift and handle up to 100 pounds
- Stand and move efficiently for four hours at a time
- Bend, kneel, and reach regularly during shifts
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members
- Distinguish flavors and aromas in food products
