Process Specialist (Technology Transfer) - Eurofins CDMO Alphora, Inc.

A contract development and manufacturing organization seeks a Process Specialist to support technology transfer of pharmaceutical active ingredients from development to GMP-compliant production. The role bridges R&D, operations, and clients while managing process scale-up, batch documentation, and manufacturing campaigns in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, QC, QA, and Operations to design and scale manufacturing processes from gram to multi-kilogram scale
• Support generation, review, and execution of batch records (MBRs, PBRs, EBRs) and provide on-floor manufacturing support
• Participate in batch scheduling, material readiness coordination, and campaign summary reporting for continuous improvement
• Serve as operations contact for internal and client communications, managing updates and process deviations
• Provide after-hours on-call support to resolve processing issues and collaborate with QA and operations leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, life sciences, or related field
• Ability to work effectively in regulated cGMP pharmaceutical environments
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to safety and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn technical processes

Compensation: $65,000 CAD base
