We are a small growing food manufacturing company that has been in business for 30 years. We are a family business located on Kingsway Ave in Port Coquitlam.
Description
We are looking for a detail oriented person to make sandwiches, wraps, and fruit & veggie cups. Shifts are Sat, Sun and Tues. Availability for early or late shifts, weekend shifts and stat holidays is considered an asset. Please indicate your availability.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Make sandwiches, wraps and fruit and veggie cups (production runs Sat to Wed)
- Accurately record batches used for production batches
- Following First In, First Out (FIFO) principles
- Work with a team of 1-4 co-workers
- Packing orders
- Doing quality checks
- Cleaning (dish washing, mopping etc)
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 year food experience in fast food, restaurant, or catering
- Preferred 1 year experience with record keeping
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Good hand eye coordination
- Ability to work quickly
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Reliability is a key requirement as this affects the whole team
- Flexibility to work stat holidays or other days of the week considered very good
- Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
