Who we need

Reporting to the Vice President, Client Experience, we are hiring a Workflow Training and Change Management Specialist to help provincial programs and healthcare organizations successfully adopt OceanMD. As our new Workflow Training and Change Management Specialist, you will sit at the intersection of digital health, technology, training, workflow enablement, and change management. You will work directly with provincial program teams and partners on digital health rollouts that are changing how healthcare is delivered, helping them prepare for change, develop practical training, and translate new technology into workflows that operate in practice.

This is more than a training role. You will become deeply immersed in OceanMD and its purpose, building hands-on expertise in the platform and electronic referral workflows. You will test the technology, investigate how it works, solve problems, and turn what you learn into practical guidance that helps healthcare teams adopt new ways of working with confidence.

Your initial focus will be Ontario, with opportunities to support other provincial programs as OceanMD’s reach grows. You will work with diverse healthcare audiences and provincial partners, gain exposure to senior government stakeholders, and play a direct role in digital health rollouts that are helping transform healthcare across Canada.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, with an expectation of working in the office two to three days per week and requires flexibility to work outside of typical office hours to meet the demands of our clients’ time zones.

Grow your expertise at the centre of health technology and change. You will work where training, technology and change come together. You will develop a deep understanding of client needs, explore how technology works in practice, advise on change management approaches, and build training and support onboarding. This is a chance to witness and experience how your work helps people move from understanding a new technology to using it confidently in their day-to-day workflows.

Influence. You will develop deep knowledge of OceanMD, electronic referral workflows, and the needs of different healthcare audiences while collaborating across program services, education and enablement, product, and support teams. As OceanMD’s provincial footprint grows, you will have opportunities to contribute across programs, clients, and evolving priorities.

How you will make an impact

• Understand the program and the change. You will work within provincial pods alongside program teams and partners to understand client needs, implementation priorities, adoption challenges, and the support required for successful rollout. You will use those insights to shape practical training and change approaches.
• Become an OceanMD workflow expert. You will quickly develop a hands-on understanding of OceanMD and how clients use the platform in practice, with a focus on electronic referrals. You will actively test workflows, investigate how the product behaves, and build the product knowledge required to answer questions and provide practical guidance.
• Support adoption through change management. You will consult with program teams on change management strategies and approaches, helping them plan and carry out activities that support people through new ways of working. You will identify barriers to adoption and help translate change plans into practical actions.
• Train, present and facilitate. You will create and deliver engaging training for healthcare teams, program partners, and other audiences. You will facilitate discussions, demonstrate OceanMD, respond confidently to questions, and adapt your approach to the audience in front of you. You will be comfortable presenting from a plan while also thinking on your feet when the conversation takes an unexpected turn.
• Connect technology to real-world workflows. You will help clients understand not only how OceanMD works, but how it can be applied within their day-to-day workflows. You will translate product knowledge into clear, practical guidance that supports confidence and adoption.
• Support high-value client engagements. You will contribute to demonstrations and enablement activities for provincial programs and clients, tailoring your approach to their needs and intended use of OceanMD. You will help audiences understand how the platform can support their workflows and objectives.
• Build and share knowledge. You will create and adapt training materials, contribute to delivery-team presentations and Ask Ocean sessions, and work with the Education and Enablement team to ensure product updates, workflows, and changes are communicated clearly.
• Bring client insight back to OceanMD. You will share client feedback, workflow questions, and emerging adoption issues with colleagues across the organization. Your observations will help strengthen training approaches and identify areas where additional product investigation or support may be required.

What you bring

• The healthcare experience. You bring professional experience working in healthcare or a healthcare-related environment. You do not need to have worked with OceanMD or specific healthcare workflows. What matters is that you understand the healthcare environment and can quickly learn the workflows relevant to the clients and programs you support.
• The training and facilitation experience. You have experience delivering live training, facilitating groups, presenting information, and demonstrating software or technology to different audiences. You are comfortable answering questions, adjusting your approach in the moment, and helping people move from learning something new to applying it.
• The change management expertise. You bring formal change management experience and understand how to help people and organizations navigate technology or process change. A recognized change management credential is an asset.
• The digital health curiosity. You enjoy getting into technology and figuring out how things work. When you encounter a question, you are motivated to investigate, test, and understand the answer rather than relying on assumptions. Experience with digital health tools is highly preferred, while OceanMD or EMR experience is an asset rather than a requirement.
• The communication skills. You are polished, well-spoken, and comfortable working in a highly client-facing environment. You can communicate clearly with provincial program partners, physician audiences, internal teams, and other stakeholders. You can deliver a structured presentation while also responding naturally and confidently when the conversation moves beyond the planned material.
• The adaptability. You are comfortable working across changing priorities, clients, programs, training activities, and change initiatives. You can move between strategic conversations and hands-on product investigation while maintaining a practical, client-focused approach.
• The flexibility. You understand that supporting provincial programs across Canada can require some flexibility in working hours. You are comfortable occasionally adjusting your schedule to support different time zones, including earlier meetings with Eastern Canada or later meetings with Western Canada. 

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 CAD. Compensation will be determined based on your experience, skills, qualifications, and the needs of the organization.
