As an Analyst I, Contracts at Phillips 66, you will support the accurate, timely administration of commodity contracts and transactions that help our business operate with confidence. What You'll Do

• Enter and maintain commodity transactions in the SAP S/4 deal capture system, verify details against applicable deal tickets, and help correct errors.
• Prepare and send transaction confirmations to third parties; review incoming confirmations and external feedback, investigate discrepancies, and drive resolutions to completion.
• Prepare, update and maintain contract, supplier and transaction documentation and records so information remains accurate, accessible and auditable.
• Support master agreement and General Terms & Conditions discussions by coordinating feedback among counterparties, Legal, Credit, traders, brokers and other internal partners.
• Coordinate counterparty responses and internal approvals for new counterparty setups while following established procedures.
• Collect, organize and analyze contract and transaction data to prepare standard reports and summaries for finance, legal, trading, scheduling and other stakeholders.
• Apply internal controls, compliance requirements and documented processes to day-to-day work; obtain approval for exceptions and identify practical ways to improve work processes.
• Build knowledge of commodity markets, contract administration, relevant regulations, systems and industry practices through training and ongoing learning.

What You'll Bring - Required

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 1 or more years of experience with simple office or operational systems
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred

• Experience with SAP S/4 or another deal capture or contract administration system
• Experience supporting commodity transaction documentation, counterparty confirmations or contract records
• Experience supporting master agreements, General Terms & Conditions or similar commercial contracts
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley controls, documentation procedures and internal approval processes
• Ability to resolve basic contract issues and identify the underlying cause of discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize work for multiple departments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, sound analytical judgment and a customer-focused approach
• Working knowledge of crude oil commodity contracts

Compensation Range


This position has a base salary range of $89,205- $103,290.
