Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary 12-month contract
Salary: $50,200 - $62,500

Position Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, secure, and compliant receipt and shipment of materials, components, and finished goods within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures adherence to export controls, customer contractual obligations, and internal inventory and quality standards. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator acts as a critical link between Inventory, Planning, Quality, and Production to ensure materials flow efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory and business requirements.

Education & Experience
- Education:
- Post-secondary education in Trade Compliance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field considered an asset
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of shipping and receiving experience with manufacturing environment
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Experience in the defense industry considered an asset
- Technical Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in with ERP/MRP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 considered an asset
- Knowledge of export documentation and shipping compliance requirements
- Understanding of inventory transaction controls and material traceability
- familiarity with carrier booking systems and freight coordination
Knowledge
- Shipping and receiving processes within a manufacturing environment
