Role Description

The Licensed Insurance Agent role at Greatway Financial Inc. is a flexible, remote position based in Canada. In this role, the agent meets with individuals, families, and business owners to assess their financial protection needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, explaining product options, preparing quotes, and completing applications in compliance with regulatory and company standards. The agent builds and maintains long-term client relationships through ongoing service, policy reviews, and responsive support. This role also involves participating in training, staying current on insurance products and industry trends, and collaborating with the local team to support business growth in the your region.

Qualifications

• Experience and proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with a strong understanding of life and health insurance products.
• Knowledge of Insurance Brokerage practices, including working with multiple carriers and tailoring solutions to diverse client needs.
• Foundational Finance skills to discuss long-term financial security, risk management, and protection strategies with clients.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Valid life insurance license in Alberta (or eligibility to obtain), and familiarity with provincial regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to build trust-based relationships and maintain a professional, ethical approach in all client interactions.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfort presenting to individuals and small groups.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented work style, with the ability to manage time, prospect for new clients, and meet performance targets.
• Previous experience in financial services, sales, or a client-facing role is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
