Product Development Coordinator

The Product Development Coordinator manages and coordinates Harvest Meats product development process from concept through commercialization. This role is accountable for timelines, meetings, documentation, costing coordination, samples, and crossfunctional followup.

This position does not own formulation or food safety decisions. It ensures alignment and accountability across Sales, QA, Production, Procurement, and Cost Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

-Coordinate the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch
-Schedule and lead meetings; document minutes and action items
-Track timelines, tasks, and deliverables using Microsoft Planner and M365 tools
-Follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
-Identify and escalate risks or delays
-Coordinate product samples, documentation, and approvals
-Work with Cost Accounting to obtain timely product costing
-Act as liaison between Sales, QA, Production, and Procurement

Qualifications:

-Diploma or degree in Food Science, Business, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
-13 years in coordination, project support, or product development
-Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments is an asset
-Strong organization, communication, and followup skills
-Comfortable running meetings and holding timelines
-Microsoft 365 proficiency; Planner experience is an asset
-Detailoriented with interest in food production and product development
