Office Assistant (Summer Student)

Job Responsibility:

Summer Student - Office Assistant (in office)

Hours of work: Monday - Friday from 830am-430pm

2 months contract (July- August)

Location: Hamilton

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Wage: $17/hourly

Job Responsibilities :

• Responding to inquiries in person, via telephone, mail, fax, emails to the public, elected representatives and staff;
• Providing information to clients and field staff both over the phone and in person;
• Recording and forwarding information requests to appropriate staff;
• Photocopying and collating information packages for distribution;
• Providing accurate information regarding department services;
• Preparing and processing documents regarding town business and responses to customers;
• Providing administrative support to office department;
• Data entry, filing, and other clerical duties as required;
• Back-up support for telephone switchboard;
• Assisting branch IT in configuring mobile devices.
• Performing other office duties as assigned.
