Android Developer for OTT Team
CBC/Radio-Canada
Become an integral part of Radio-Canada’s OTT Team as an Android Developer. This hybrid role emphasizes high-performance mobile application development in both English and French. As a contract Android Developer, you'll leverage your expertise in Kotlin and Android Studio to design and modify reusable components for digital platforms. You will engage in Agile Scrum activities, ensuring compliance with standards and participating actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and deployments. Your role is pivotal in proposing innovative solutions and maintaining application performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and modify reusable Android components
- Ensure product quality and compliance standards
- Participate in Agile Scrum activities effectively
- Propose proactive solutions to development challenges
- Engage in user story development and project reviews
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in software development
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Android Studio
- Experience publishing apps on Google Play
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and programming patterns
