Senior Transmission Engineer In Ontario Toronto

Elevate your engineering career as a Senior Engineer – Transmission Lines with BBA in Ontario. Drive complex projects from planning to construction, supporting high‑voltage line development across Canada. BBA is searching for a Senior Engineer to lead technical work in overhead transmission line projects.
You’ll be key in managing both HVAC and HVDC projects, collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior colleagues. This role requires an experienced qualified who will also engage in business development, nurturing client relationships and ensuring project excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead detailed designs for overhead transmission lines (25 kV to 765 kV)
- Model transmission systems using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
- Prepare engineering deliverables including plans and specifications
- Coordinate with various teams during project phases
- Provide in‑office engineering support during construction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Licensed P.Eng. in at least one Canadian province
- Minimum 10 years in overhead transmission line engineering
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and related tools
- Advanced English and French communication skills
