This internship will run from August to December 2026.

The Role

The Site Quality role supports the implementation of TMICC specifications, standards and Quality Management System (QMS) for quality assurance and controls in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. This key Quality role ensures systems are in place to comply with local regulatory requirements and drives site Quality improvement activities to ensure product consumer safety & overall quality and address consumer / customer issues.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Support the implementation and evaluation of ongoing compliance with a quality testing program throughout the production cycle, ensuring adherence to The Magnum Ice Cream Company's external requirements and applicable specifications.
• Support the implementation and verification of procedures to control non-conforming materials and products.
• Support program to ensure on-site Quality laboratories operate in accordance with applicable Good Laboratory practices and TMICC external requirements, test methods and general laboratory safety.
• Support the implementation and verification of site calibration and maintenance program for inspection, measuring and testing equipment.
• Support program for product fill control through monitoring and verifying fill parameters and compliance.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of systems where key quality data and information are recorded and preserved.
• Support / participate in Quality and Food Safety process improvement teams within the factory.
• Support digital systems, practices, loss trees and improvement tools are used to reduce / eliminate quality losses.
• Support / participate in structured quality improvement activities related to customer and consumer issues.
• Support efforts to improve quality of inbound materials by collecting and analyzing supplier performance data.
• Support process capability studies to maintain alignment between process capability and specification limits in processing and filling operations.
• Apply current tools and practices to support management of quality related projects.
• Support efforts to complete and maintain external and internal audits, GMP Inspections and certifications.
• Support efforts to verify and document compliance to regulatory requirements applicable to quality and consumer safety.

• Is currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma co-op/internship program in Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
• Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results
• Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organization
• Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working
