Title: Inventory Clerk | Material Handler
Location: Brampton, ON
Wage: $22.00 / hr
Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, or order pickers, and will help maintain smooth material flow throughout the warehouse. This position is for a future vacancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock audits to maintain accuracy
- Update inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Safely operate MHE, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Organize warehouse storage to optimize stock rotation and accessibility
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, escalating issues as needed
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and related documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- Experience operating MHE; forklift certification preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to lift and handle materials as required
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong organizational, time-management, and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
