Reliable Staffing is looking for compassionate skilled and reliable Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for travel and contract assignments across various healthcare facilities.
Employment Type: Travel / Contract / Temporary
Schedule: Days evenings nights weekends & holidays as required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe compassionate and patient-centred nursing care.
- Assess and monitor patients/residents and report changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established care plans and policies.
- Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Assist with developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with RNs physicians PSWs and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patients conditions and emergencies.
- Promote patient comfort dignity safety and independence.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Maintain professional standards and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current RPN registration with the applicable provincial regulatory college.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care retirement homes hospitals or community care is an asset.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel for assignments.
