Job Title: AZ Shunter
Location: Brampton, ON
Shift/Hours: Casual Afternoon : 3:30 pm - 11:45 pm
Pay Rate: $24.68/hr. (paid on payroll only).
We are currently recruiting for a Casual Afternoon Shift Shunter to support yard operations for one of our transportation clients. This opportunity would be ideal for an experienced shunter who is looking for flexible, part-time work while assisting with the safe and efficient movement of trailers within a busy yard environment. You will play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring trailers are moved, positioned, and organized as required.
Job Duties:
• Ability to hook up and move trailers at a steady pace
• Complete required paperwork
• Adhere to all safety measures
• Complete moves using tablet
• Perform yard checks when required
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of shunting experience
• Ability to work additional shifts as required
• Experience with radio, tablet or scanner
• Willing to provide abstract & CVOR dated within 30 days
• Willing to provide criminal background check
