ParaMed is proud to announce that we are partnered with Ontario Health and the College of Nurses of Ontario for the Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (SPEP) program. SPEP is an option for eligible CNO applicants to meet their evidence of practice and/or language proficiency requirements to qualify for registration to practice as a nurse in Ontario. ParaMed invites program participants to apply for opportunities within our Ontario clinics allowing you to earn your practice experience while getting paid.
The Role
As a ParaMed employee and SPEP participant, we invite you to join our dedicated team of care providers as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse and make an impact that matters! under the supervision of a registered staff member, you will be able to complete your practice experience of 140+ hours. Supervisors provide coaching and mentoring to program participants throughout the program and prepare you for your Ontario nursing career.
What You Bring
- A genuine passion for both health care and senior care with an unrelenting curiosity to learn.
- Provide essential and important daily living support and comfort to patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding and other activities as needed.
- Effective oral and written communication is important to provide quality care for our valued residents.
- IEN applicants are eligible if they have met all their registration requirements with the CNO except for evidence of practice and/or language proficiency.
