Qualifications

• Successful completion of 2-year certificate/diploma in Business, Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by the Hospital
• Minimum 1-year recent, relevant experience
• Crucial conversations training preferred
• Knowledge of receivables management best practices
• Knowledge of financial accounting standards (e.g. GAAP)
• Knowledge of receivables management applications, preferably HRCM (INFOR Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management)
• Knowledge of productivity applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to have difficult conversations
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Vision, Purpose and Values
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
