Ultimately, EllisDon’s purpose is to provide people with similar values the opportunity to achieve to their full potential; to deliver that opportunity for great careers to one another; and to contribute meaningfully to the community we share with others.In case you’re curious, here’s what the industry thinks of us and some of the impacts we've made to the communities we work in and our latest Impact Report , highlighting how we're putting our values into practice in areas such as the climate & environment, inclusive diversity, indigenous relations, and health and safety.EllisDon uses AI tools to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.You as a Senior Project Manager (Special Projects) will:Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the SuperintendentPrepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billingsMeet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the companyMonitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flowLead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progressionSubmit project reports to Special Projects Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalatedIs this the right role for you?You have a construction related degree/diploma and 10+ years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experienceYou have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract softwareYou have the ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relationsPrevious work in Special Projects (ie.
