Director of Board Governance at HOOPP
HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan)
Elevate governance practices as the Director of Board Operations at HOOPP. This role requires expertise in Board governance, technology integration, and supporting executive decision-making. In this senior position, you'll report to the VP, Board Secretariat, overseeing vital Board and Committee functions. Your extensive experience in governance will be employed to modernize practices, manage meeting logistics, and facilitate informed decision-making with a focus on operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily operations of the Board Secretariat
• Manage logistics for Board and Committee meetings
• Advise CEO and executives on governance matters
• Oversee compliance and governance documentation
• Drive effectiveness of governance and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements:
• 15+ years in Board governance or similar roles
• Undergraduate degree in Business or Governance
• Experience with governance technologies and AI
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Bring your governance expertise to HOOPP, enhancing practices to support its mission.
