Complex Marketing Specialist

The Complex Marketing Specialist works with the Complex Senior Marketing Manager and the Complex Director of Commercial Services to support the implementation of the marketing plan and run marketing campaigns to increase hotel brand awareness and support the business development strategy. Must be able to travel to 3 properties in the GTA.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Support the development, execution, management, and analysis of marketing campaigns for 3 properties across the GTA
• Work closely across departments to drive marketing initiatives that raise awareness of all hotel programs and initiatives and meet marketing and business goals
• Drive content creation at the highest standards while complying with brand guidelines across digital channels and traditional media, including but not limited to: social media, website, email campaigns, and OTAs
• Assist in the development of promotional activities, marketing channels, and marketing materials for events
• Manage the hotel's media database, develop and maintain the relationship with local and US media and influencers
• Manage the hotel's online community and build meaningful relationships with guests, to ultimately, meet revenue targets
• Support in the planning and execution of events and local partnerships
• Identify issues, potential crisis online and offline, and escalate to the line manager or Director of Commercial Services when necessary
• Stay on top of marketing and industry trends, converting observations and data into insights to contribute to the hotel's overall marketing strategies
• Report monthly performance analytics

What are we looking for?

• A degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related discipline is preferred
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing, lifestyle/ hospitality or agency experience
• Demonstrated experience working with media, influencers, and managing social media and website content
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and drive for completing deliverables on time and in budget
• Strategic mindset and a can-do attitude
• Deep understanding of the North American market
