After-School Driver/Sitter: Annex to The Beaches ($25/hr, Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM) Hi there! We are seeking a safety-conscious caregiver with a reliable vehicle to pick up our 4-year-old daughter (Junior Kindergarten) from school in the Annex and drive her home to the Beaches every weekday afternoon. Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (15 guaranteed hours/week). Compensation: $25.00 / hour. Locations: Pickup is at the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study (JICS) near Spadina Station. Drop-off and subsequent care are at our home in the Beaches. Responsibilities: Arrive punctually at the school gate by 3:15 PM for daily dismissal. Safely secure our daughter into her car seat and drive her back to our home in the Beaches, navigating afternoon rtraffic safely. Provide engaging care at our home until 6:00 PM (prepare a light afternoon snack, read books, draw, or play). Requirements: Must have a safe, reliable 4-door vehicle, a valid Ontario Driver’s License, and a clean driving record. Must be comfortable with us providing and installing a safety-certified car seat in your vehicle. Must pass a Toronto Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC). Must be added to the school’s official authorized pickup list (requires presenting government photo ID at the school). Experience with preschool/JK-aged children.
