Nanny Wanted - Nanny For Toddler In Toronto's Annex Neighbourhood (Bloor/Bathurst)

About The Job: Full-time live-in or live-out position as a nanny in downtown Toronto, 10 min walk from Bathurst and Spadina TTC stations. Our busy family of three (about to be four in July) is seeking an organized, enthusiastic and attentive nanny to care for our 3 year old boy and a newborn girl. We are offering a competitive hourly rate. About The Family: We are a busy and loving Canadian-Chinese couple with an energetic, social and curious toddler boy and a newborn. Without family close by, we also need additional help in order to keep our household in order. Hours: 35-40 hrs per week. Ideal Schedule below: Monday to Friday: 7am-2pm - wake up, get ready, breakfast, drop off toddler at daycare, newborn care, meal prep Saturday OR Sunday: 2pm-7pm/10pm - toddler care 5-8 hours Childcare Responsibilities:

• Daycare drop off/pickup (5-10 min walk or 5 min drive)
• Engaging play and care for the children focusing on physical, emotional and verbal development
• One weekend shift with advance notice
• Additional routines may include changing, bathing, outdoor play, snacks and bedtime.
• Care for sick child if home from daycare

Housework Responsibilities:

• Loading/unloading dishwasher
• Child's laundry only
• Groceries and simple meal prep for the family
• Serving meals and feeding children
• Cleaning child's play area and room
• Light house cleaning

Minimum Qualifications:

• Min 3 years experience working with young children (including infants, toddlers),
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid first aid and child CPR certificate
• Health certificates and immunizations
• ECE diploma
• Police record check
