Lead Project Engineer in Energy Solutions

Drive complex energy projects at WSP as a Lead Project Engineer. Leverage your expertise to guide projects from concept to construction-ready within a collaborative environment. Join WSP’s Energy & Process team to take the lead in managing multidisciplinary engineering projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, and engineering design activities while ensuring compliance with WSP standards. Your experience in project engineering will empower you to serve as the primary technical contact for clients, navigating complex challenges effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and estimation of engineering design activities
- Drive project success through early risk identification
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for aligned deliverables
- Oversee engineering designs and quality assurance
- Act as primary technical interface with clients
- P.Eng. or P.Tech. designation required
- 10–15 years of experience in EPCM within the energy industry
- Proven leadership in client-facing project roles
- Strong communication and risk management skills
- Experience in design optimization and project reporting
