Senior I&C Engineer for Hybrid Projects

Advance as a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, managing EPCM projects in Calgary’s energy sector. Lead the way in designing efficient control systems with hybrid flexibility. In this senior engineering position, you will oversee instrument and controls projects from conception to commissioning. Your role includes crafting control philosophies, preparing technical specifications, and collaborating with project management teams to elevate system reliability and efficiency throughout various sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead instrumentation and control design efforts within project teams
- Develop and refine control philosophies and technical specifications
- Create loop diagrams, I/O lists, and wiring documentation
- Design PLC, DCS, and safety instrument systems
- Provide support during construction and commissioning phases
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related fields
- Over 10 years of relevant I&C engineering experience
- Valid P.Eng. registration with APEGA or equivalent
- Familiarity with Rockwell and Siemens systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
