Assistant Project Manager (Kingston)

The Assistant Project Manager role is designed to support current construction project teams in the short term while developing into a future project leader. You will work closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to: Keep projects organized and on schedule Improve communication and execution flow Gradually take on increasing ownership of project scopes, budgets, and coordination What We Offer

Competitive Salary: $60,000 – $85,000 (based on experience and growth potential) Job Type: Permanent, full-time Start Date: Ongoing Location: Kingston & Belleville Region Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (standard construction management hours) Work Model: Primarily onsite What You’ll Do (Project Coordination)

Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of ICI construction projects Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and documentation Maintain project schedules, logs, and document control systems (Procore or equivalent) Coordinate communication between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams Assist with procurement, tendering, and subcontract administration Support cost tracking, invoice review, and budget updates Attend site meetings and track action items to completion Assist with project closeout and turnover documentation Assistant Project Management

Take ownership of smaller scopes or phases of projects Assist in schedule tracking and milestone management Support trade coordination and issue resolution on active sites Participate in cost monitoring, change management, and forecasting Begin leading coordination meetings and progress updates Act as a secondary point of contact for stakeholders What We’re Looking For

1–5 years of experience in construction project coordination, project administration, or junior project management (ICI preferred) Post‑secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills in a multi‑project environment Clear communicator with ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders Experience handling RFI's and change orders Exposure to budgeting, scheduling, or subcontract coordination is a strong asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project considered assets Valid driver’s license Who This Role Is Ideal For
