As a Security Guard with Edon, you’ll be the first point of contact in maintaining site safety. Your role will include:

• Conducting regular patrols
• Responding swiftly to incidents
• Enforcing site policies and procedures for tenants, guests, and the public
• Generating app-based reports

This is an on-call position , offering flexible, as-needed hours to support operational requirements. Candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on short notice when required.

• Maintain secure facilities in line with Edon Management’s standards and contract specifications
• Identify and address security concerns, ensuring the safety systems of the facility are functioning properly
• Uphold order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises
• Respond to incidents, generate incident reports, and investigate security-related concerns
• Conduct routine building walk-throughs and generate detailed reports
• Follow access control , patrol procedures , and fire safety protocols to maintain a secure environment

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 2 years security experience
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Valid Alberta Security License is required
• Unrestricted Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with no demerits 
• Standard First Aid and CPR with AED considered an asset
• Completed Grade 12 Education
• Excellent knowledge of security practices
• Strong command of the English language (written and oral)
