Chief Loan IQ Developer

A career as a Chief Loan IQ Developer on the Global Corporate and Investment Banking IT team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in the development, operational support and evolution of the Loan IQ platform. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact on the stability, performance and continuous improvement of a critical business platform through your expertise in application development, data management and production support.

Your role

• Develop and maintain technical solutions using Loan IQ, Java and SQL to support business and operational needs.
• Design and optimize reports, complex queries, monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
• Provide production support, investigate incidents, perform data reconciliation and implement sustainable long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with application support, integration, quality assurance, release management and vendor teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Automate recurring production support, reporting and operational activities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Document technical solutions, facilitate knowledge sharing and contribute to sustainable backup coverage for critical services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, combined with 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise application development, production support, or application support
• Hands-on experience with Loan IQ, Java and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of complex query development, data analysis and reporting solutions.
• Experience with application interfaces, application programming interfaces (APIs), XML and JSON.
• Experience working with batch processing, automation, continuous integration or continuous delivery environments.
• Knowledge of financial services technology or enterprise software platforms is considered an asset.
• Be open to the possibility of being on call in rotation (24h/7)
