Dental Assistant and Receptionist

Job Responsibility:

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience in a dental setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients and orthodontics.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
• Schedule and confirm appointments while ensuring optimal patient flow.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
• Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
• Assist with basic dental assisting tasks when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and office policies.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages professionally.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology specific to dentistry is essential.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
• Proficiency in dental software systems such as Maxident is preferred.
• Dental assisting experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
