Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Team Days : Organize and facilitate engaging Team Days for corporate groups, ensuring an exceptional experience that inspires ongoing support.
- Plan and Support Events : Coordinate Habitat-hosted events and assist with third-party fundraising events to expand our community reach.
- Marketing & Communications : Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance Habitat's brand awareness and engagement.
- Graphic Design : Create marketing materials using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Social Media Management : Plan and execute engaging content across social media platforms.
- Website & Blog Management : Maintain and update the Habitat website, ensuring timely and relevant content.
- Email Marketing : Design and send newsletters, promotional campaigns, and event communications using Constant Contact or similar platforms.
- SEO & Digital Advertising : Optimize website content for search engines and manage paid digital advertising campaigns..
About You:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, event coordination, or related role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact.
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to build strong relationships and connections within the community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to work within tight deadlines and coordinate information from a variety of sources
- Consistently demonstrates confidential, professional behaviour
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
