Become the Director of Engineering at Stay22, a hybrid role based in Montreal. Lead a team in architecting scalable systems for a revolutionary AI-powered platform.
As the Director of Engineering, you will guide a talented organization of around 40 engineers. Your focus will include setting technical direction and fostering innovation while ensuring engineering excellence within the team. Working closely with Product and leadership partners, you'll create high-impact engineering roadmaps and maintain alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct an engineering team across multiple squads
• Develop and communicate technical strategy efficiently
• Engage in architecture discussions and code reviews
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement
• Align technical initiatives with business outcomes
Requirements:
• 15+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ in leadership roles
• Strong background in B2B SaaS and startup environments
• Expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and related technology
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
