To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing As a Senior Manager, Auto Finance Credit Risk, you will support the profitable growth of the auto finance portfolio by providing specialized knowledge of auto finance lending, managing the relationship with the business, working with the manual adjudication team to streamline and optimize the manual reviews, and represent RACD in key projects. The goal is to optimize the risk/reward tradeoff and streamline processes, all of which are critical to the sustainable performance that CIBC's retail risk appetite mandates. You will have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you will spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How you'll succeed

• Portfolio management -Represent RACD in risk related efforts, supporting the portfolio. Manage the relationship with internal and external partners, for the management of the portfolio - the business, external vendor that manages the manual adjudication efforts for new applications, CIBC Collections, and external partners who support management of delinquent accounts.
• Strategy and program analysis - Review portfolio performance and work with the strategy team to develop/enhance acquisition and account management strategies, to enhance the risk/reward trade-off.
• Project and partner engagement - Provide project SME support to approved Risk Management and CIBC-wide initiatives and projects. General administration and business process requirements for RACD team.
• Manage multiple priorities - Prioritize auto finance risk deliverables alongside ad-hoc business user, adjudication, collections, and Executive requests.
• Communication - Convey and present factual and conceptual information on issues that require detailed explanation and interpretation. Effectively communicate material through interpretation, analysis, and assessment to articulate conclusions. Provide credit risk management expertise, guidance, and counsel to business partners during projects especially as it relates to development of robust adjudication and collection processes in order to balance the risk-reward trade-off for the auto finance lending portfolio.

Who you are

• You can demonstrate experience. 3+ years of experience in retail credit (product, risk) - auto finance experience would be beneficial. Experience preparing and delivering presentations. Proficiency with MS Excel.
• You can demonstrate knowledge. Of retail credit risk criteria and methodologies, retail credit experience gained through exposure in product or risk,
• You have a degree/diploma. In Business, Commerce and/or a similar discipline.
