WHAT YOU WILL DO
Reporting to a Chair within the Nursing Program Portfolio, the Program Facilitator, provides program support to Bachelor of Nursing, Nurse Re Entry and Health Care Aide programs, with the overall focus and goal being student success by working collaboratively to provide program maintenance, support and promotion. The opportunity to support additional health programs may arise.

Key responsibilities of the position include: preparing, updating, organizing and participating in program promotion; updating program information and digital media sites; advising, addressing, answering and resolving issues and questions related to programs from students, faculty and outside the organization; providing course and program level support by assisting with correspondence, updating course outlines/materials and learning management system (LMS), book requests, instructor and room scheduling; assisting in the arrangement and communication of student practicum; and liaising and coordinating with internal departments and external organizations regarding programs. Other duties may arise as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Post-secondary education in Office Administration or Business Administration/Management, Education, Nursing, or Allied Health or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience supporting the delivery of educational programs and services, including health programs
• Experience providing customer service to a multicultural and multi-needs customer base
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including an advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective conflict resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues
• Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to work remotely
• Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

• Salary Range for this position:  $54,571 - $76,814 per annum
• Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
