Dishwasher Casual AgeCare Midnapore

Job Responsibility: The Opportunity: The Dishwasher is responsible for operating the dishwashing machine to wash designated community and kitchenware's; washing pots, pans and other kitchen utensils and equipment; cleaning and maintaining dishwashing/kitchen areas; completing other cleaning projects as assigned. The Dishwasher may also perform basic food preparation and serving duties. Key Responsibilities:

• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher, or by hand
• Unload dishwasher and store items properly
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned after use
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and sorts and removes trash
• Assist with receiving and proper storage of supplies
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage, kitchen and work areas by hand or cart
• May assist in preparing food items and or serving

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing
• Previous experience as a dishwasher would be an asset
• Must be able to follow direction and capable of routine work with minimal supervision
• Must be motivated and consistently demonstrate AgeCare's values
