NLP Specialist Data Scientist Position

Take your expertise to Morgan Stanley as a Data Scientist with an NLP focus in Non-Financial Risk. Engage in hybrid work while developing advanced AI frameworks for compliance and surveillance. This director-level role requires over four years of hands-on experience in AI/ML/NLP solutions. You'll be responsible for designing high-performance systems, collaborating across departments, and advocating for innovative approaches to enhance detection of illegal activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Build models utilizing large language and agentic AI
- Drive efficiencies with GenAI solutions for automating tasks
- Research and enhance analytical solutions
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams on AI adoption
- Lead initiatives to improve detection methodologies
- Minimum 4 years in AI/ML and quantitative analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Strong skills in Python or Java, and various AI software
- Knowledge of SDLC practices and financial compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
