Director Business Technology & AI Governance
The North West Company
Lead innovative technology solutions as Director of Business Technology and AI at The North West Company in Winnipeg. This leadership role focuses on ensuring technology investments translate into clear business value.
At TNWC, your primary responsibilities will include acting as a liaison between IT and business units, overseeing the entire technology demand lifecycle. You’ll evaluate and prioritize investments while enhancing governance frameworks that support strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate trade-off discussions to optimize technology requests
• Maintain oversight on enterprise technology portfolio
• Ensure alignment of technology initiatives to business outcomes
• Lead cross-functional decision-making for tech investments
• Monitor performance and value realization of technology initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• Over 10 years in technology management roles
• 3-5 years experience in portfolio governance
• Strong understanding of emerging AI technologies
• Ability to influence decisions among executives
